History

LDD first started trading on 1st October 2007 and since this date has established itself as a benchmark world leading company in the provision of specialist drilling and marine construction services across oil & gas, marine civil construction and renewable energy industries.

LDD was started by its present day Managing Director and Vice President: Operations and the company has grown quickly from start up to offer services and products covering entire project cycles from conception to installation.

Over 80 years of core specialist experience underpin the company which has lead to it winning projects around the globe from West Africa to Australia to Papua New Guinea.

With a highly experienced and dedicated team to serve and care for our clients' needs, LDD continues to develop as a world leader with development of its total tubular installation services and complementary capabilities including grouting, specialist sub sea piling technology, handling systems, lifting tools and pile driving.

In May 2009, LDD was formally recognised for its efforts and achievements since start up being awarded UK, Cornwall's Best New Business for 2008.

LDD is an Acteon company. Acteon is a group of specialist engineering and service companies serving the global offshore oil and gas industry.
