Pile installation for DECAL - Panama
LDD is due to commence foundation pile installation services during March 2011 as part of Terminal Extension Works for Client DECAL on the Island of Taboguilla, Panama.
The Project involves the supply and operation of LD408 drill system and S90 hydraulic hammer system (provided by Acteon sister company CIS) for the installation of 30 piles using the 3D (Drive/Drill/Drive) technique in challenging ground conditions. LDD has provided expert driving analysis as well as selecting LDD 914/1220mm under-reaming drill system to ensure pile installation is achieved to the Client’s specification for all piles. All works are to be executed from a Client Supplied jack-up barge and are expected to be complete within 4 months from start..
