Lifting tools

LDD can supply a comprehensive range of lifting tools for construction projects in marine environments. Pile lifting can be accommodated with hydraulic or pinned ILTs which can be can be supplied across a comprehensive size range.

Hydraulic release shackle may be supplied for remote disconnection either above or below water. Lift beams may also be provided including lifting frames for specialist arrangements accommodating multiple shackles or connections.

Hydraulic Release Shackles

LDD can provide a range of Hydraulic Release Shackles from 35 tonne to over 1000 tonne for both surface and sub-sea operation. For sub-sea application, depths in excess of 2000m can be accommodated. Units can be surface powered or fully autonomous.

Internal Lift Tools (ILTs)

LDD Internal Lift Tools (ILT) are simple to operate and accommodate a 6" ID variation covering a range of pile wall thicknesses. Tool resizing is fast and simple with in-built lifting apparatus to allow fast, simple and safe component changeout.

Pinned Lift Tools (PLTs)

LDD Pinned Lifting Tools (PLT) are very cost effective, efficient, safe and easy to use. PLTs feature a simple single pinning system for securing to, upending and lifting piles. Once the pile is in place the pin is typically removed manually by personnel or WROV, releasing the PLT from the pile.

Lift beams

LDD can supply lift beams and lift frames for a wide range of applications. Lift beams may be provided as single application or modular beams provided for flexibility and value by adaptation to a variety of lifting applications.
