Subsea Piling Frames - StabFRAME
StabFRAME is a collaborative initiative between Acteon Group Companies, LDD, MENCK & CAPE and built on the back of world leading offshore piling and construction experience. Supply of StabFRAME can be complemented by supply of hammer packages and lifting tools.
StabFRAME enables stabilised piling in all water depths to over 2000m where external pile support is required. StabFrame is of modular construction for ease of transportation, assembly and operation. The modular design allows StabFRAME to be fully transportable in standard ISO containers and enables easy bolt on of additional mudmats for additional ground bearing capacity or additional installation aids for optimisation for various applications.
Designed to DNV rules with DNV witness function and testing
- Full base case Functional Design Loading Matrix" supplied to DNV-OS-C201 which includes hydrodynamic loading, vessel motion, sea state, pile hammer stresses etc.
- Full Pile Stability Service. Geotechnical analysis and report
- Standard pile size range <24" to >96". Change in diameters by sleeve inserts to standard frames.
- Frames and handling systems for 4m+ diameter piles can be provided
- Shallow to Deepwater (2000m+) application. Solid section construction (no tubulars used)
- Optimisation of construction vessel time by reducing crane hook transits through water column
- WROV/hydraulic release. NO release rings to be welded to piles which adds cost and prevents template removal over pile in event of early refusal. Security of pile stability and eases risk evaluation
- Surety of Frame closure. No automatic latch systems to go wrong or worry about
- No "dead" counterweight to deal with
- Automatic subsea resetting for subsequent piling operation
- Accurate pile position, orientation and verticality control. Monitoring systems incorporated
- Pile installation in wide range of soil conditions and seabed relief. Specialist Frames can incorporate levelling devices
- Modular construction for reduced cost of transportation (standard ISO containers) and ease of assembly.
- Allows for lay out of arms to horizontal reducing working height to 2.5m. Easier to handle
- Frames can easily be transported and assembled worldwide
- Modular construction allows "bolt on" units. Easy increase of mud mat area
- Lighter than competitors but with significantly increased operability. Smaller cranes. Easier to handle
- Minimised lift height. Lift beams and running tools provided if required
- Minimise requirement for followers Lower COG improved stability of pile driving assembly
