Together with sister operating companies MENCK and CIS, LDD can provide world class foundation installation services using the Drive/Drill/Drive or 3D technique.
Using this technique, piles are driven to initial set, followed by drilling out the inside the pile and creation of an open socket below the pile toe to target elevation. Final redrive into the open socket can achieve pile penetration to target elevation in more challenging ground conditions where driving alone is not sufficient.
Where pile fatigue is a factor, relief drilling inside and below the pre-driven pile will significantly reduce the ultimate energy required to install the pile to target elevation. LDD may also provide under-reamers to drill to the outside diameter of the pile in harder strata in order to achieve final penetration.
