Andy Seager

Managing Director

Andy is committed to providing an exemplary service that matches requirements to past, present and future clients. Andy has over 25 years of experience in mining and marine construction, much of which has been centred around large diameter drilling services within the offshore oil and gas construction industry.

James McGovan

Vice President Sales and Marketing

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, James has driven and managed multi-disciplined, marine construction projects across the civils, oil & gas and renewable energy sectors. His direct management and field experience enables James to understand your project and provide you the best value solution for your marine foundation installation project.

James Tuckwell

General Manager LDD Australia

James has enjoyed over 20 years’ experience in major civil engineering and marine construction projects in both Northern and Southern hemispheres. James has developed a strong relationship based approach to project delivery focusing on win-win results for all parties. Most recently, James continues to lead the LDD Australia business and developing integrated foundation installation solutions for the marine facilities, oil and gas and renewable markets through Australia and the Asia Pacific Region.

Lee Edwards

Head of Operations

With 25 years’ experience in the marine drilling industry, Lee has managed projects in all over the world; successfully overseeing from bid stages through to full project delivery onsite. Following his degree in Mining Engineering ACSM, Lee has gained his broad base of knowledge and expertise from a wide-range of roles within oil & gas, renewables, marine construction and geotechnical drilling sectors.

David Knights

Head of Projects

David is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 15 years’ experience in civil & marine contracting and project management. David’s desire to fully understand client’s challenges and successfully drive projects from concept to final completion has been proven on a range of high-profile global projects. His ability to pull together and lead a diverse range of technical specialists has enabled LDD to successfully deliver 'world-firsts' in the marine construction industry; most notably the build of the LD5000 drill and LDD's pre-piling template for the Wikinger offshore wind farm.

Tony Grady

Commercial Manager

Tony joined LDD in 2011, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in the UK civils contracting market with him. A strong advocate of the partnering approach, Tony is a chartered surveyor and is LDD’s contracts specialist. He is committed to ensuring that best value for all stakeholders is realised on projects through promotion of appropriate commercial, contractual and operational risk identification, mitigation and allocation measures.

Jamie Bentley

Engineering Manager

Jamie is a Chartered Engineer with experience in various industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing, Power Generation, and Oil & Gas. Having joined LDD in 2018 from within the Acteon Group, he has an extensive track record for implementing positive change and introducing Lean principles to engineering. Jamie is committed to ensuring all engineering activities are executed efficiently, in accordance with industry best practice, and optimised to ensure the voice of the customer is always a priority.

Colin Gibson

QHSE Manager

Colin joined the team in November 2015, and brings to LDD, experience in both the public and private sectors. Colin continually pushes his knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental issues and strives to ensure that his knowledge of legislation and best practice is up-to-date and communicated to the whole LDD/LMH team and wider group.

Suzanne Thompson

Financial Controller

Suzanne joined the LDD team in April 2014 as Senior Financial Assistant. ACCA qualified since 2003, Suzanne has over 25 years’ experience in finance and accounting. She has worked her way up from office junior to assistant group accountant at a Cornish Group whose diversification ranged from fruit growers to commercial construction. Having spent the last 9 years in the logistics industry, Suzanne has developed a strong commercial background and is relishing the opportunity to apply her skills to the offshore construction industry.

Esther Osborn

HR Manager

Esther joined the LDD team in November 2013 and has over 25 years’ experience in both Human Resources and Commercial management. Her expertise includes talent management, coaching and development, training, employee relations and compliance. A BSc Hons Management graduate, she has previously worked for blue chip FTSE 100 companies in a generalist HR role partnering with managers at all levels delivering cultural and structural change across the business. Her experience in a Commercial environment has enabled her to better understand the demands of the marine subsea and construction industry and support the business with a strategic outlook. More recently Esther has been partnering with other Acteon Operating Companies in support of their HR requirements and specifically working with Acteon on all corporate recruitment requirements.
